On a daily basis, the Procurement Manager will be in charge of contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, procurement, analytical abilities, and contract administration.
• Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best quality and pricing. • Purchasing Strategy: Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and budget. • Negotiating Contracts: Leading negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. • Inventory Control: Overseeing inventory levels to ensure the timely procurement of goods without overstocking or running out of essential supplies. • Budget Management: Monitoring and managing procurement budgets to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality. • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policies, and mitigating any potential risks. • Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify new suppliers, industry trends, and opportunities for cost savings or improvements.
• Analytical abilities, contract negotiation, and supplier evaluation • Knowledge of Contract Management and Procurement • Excellent communication and negotiating abilities • Organisational abilities and attention to detail • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a similar discipline is preferred. • Knowledge of sustainable procurement methods is also advantageous.
