Overview

To develop and expand our custody business, we are presently looking for a specialist in the field to join our Treasury team.

Responsibilities

• Bear the task of supervising the Bank's custody operations. • Create plans and strategies for managing and marketing companies in the custody industry. • Make certain that the custody business is run in accordance with all legal and bank regulations. • Oversee the creation of a custody client portfolio and offer specialised relationship management to clients in the portfolio. • to supervise and uphold the collaboration and synergies between SG Ghana Custody activities and its counterpart at Head Office. • Reach the unit's designated Assets Under Custody (AUC) and income goals. • Examine the portfolio frequently to build stronger business ties. • operate as the main liaison between existing and potential customers. • Determine customer demands and related sales prospects for the entire bank, then aggressively market strategies to boost customer use of goods and services while using the bank's distinctive and extensive capabilities. • Effectively manage your current portfolio while keeping up with emerging trends in the custodial industry. • Examine every Portfolio Valuation Report (PVR) before to sending it to a client. • Arranging for customer onboarding and account opening.

Requirements

• A master's degree in finance or a similar discipline is required. • An extra benefit is having more professional qualifications in a related sector. • The ACI Dealing Certificate • An additional benefit is having at least eight (8) years of Treasury experience, preferably in Financial Institutions and Custody Business Management. Experience supervising Treasury business teams is also preferred. • Computer literacy along with strong report writing and Excel abilities.
