Overview

Overseeing the last phases of construction projects, the construction finishing manager makes sure that all finishing touches are carried out to the greatest standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finishing Work: Keep an eye on the completion of all finishing jobs, such as flooring, painting, and fixture installation. • Quality Control: Verify that every piece of work satisfies the necessary requirements for quality. • Coordination: To guarantee that jobs are completed on schedule, coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other team members. • Solving Problems: Take care of any problems or flaws that appear throughout the completion process. • Safety Compliance: Verify that all final tasks adhere to safety guidelines and requirements. • Client Communication: Keep in touch with clients on a frequent basis to discuss any issues and provide progress reports.

Requirements

• Education: It's usually preferred to have a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar discipline. • Experience: at least five years of construction experience, with an emphasis on completing projects. • Skills: Outstanding communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to oversee several projects at once.
