Graphic Designer

Overview

A creative, motivated graphic designer who loves music and visual storytelling is what we are looking for. The ideal applicant will be in charge of creating captivating designs for merchandising, album covers, social media graphics, promotional materials, and other creative assets that represent our brand and the identities of the artists.

Responsibilities

• Design Creation: Create visually striking designs that complement brand and artist personas for merchandising, event posters, social media, album and single covers, and marketing campaigns. • Cooperation: To comprehend project objectives and successfully convert creative briefs into original visual concepts, collaborate closely with artists, the A&R team, marketing, and social media managers. • Brand Consistency: Boost the label's visual presence across all platforms by making sure all designs complement the brand identity. • Project management: Oversee several design projects at different phases, guaranteeing on-time delivery and compliance with project schedules. • Innovation & Trends: To produce original and inventive graphics that appeal to consumers, stay current with design and music industry trends.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in visual arts, graphic design, or a similar discipline, or comparable professional experience, preferably in the entertainment or music sector. • Technical Skills: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign); familiarity with Premiere Pro or After Effects is advantageous. • Portfolio: A solid portfolio that highlights a variety of design philosophies, with an emphasis on visual narrative, branding, and designs associated with music. • Passion for Music: Deep knowledge and admiration of music trends and culture, particularly in the African and international music scenes. • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and visual communication abilities to cooperate across teams and interpret and implement new ideas. • Attention to Detail: A keen sense of layout, colour, typography, and aesthetics, as well as the capacity to produce visually arresting images that enthral and engage.
