Cyber Security Instructor

Overview

The ideal applicant will have a solid foundation in cybersecurity and be particularly skilled in penetration testing (pen test) or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). This position entails providing students with excellent instruction and guidance, assisting them in acquiring the theoretical understanding and practical abilities necessary to succeed in the cybersecurity industry.

Responsibilities

• Create and provide thorough, interesting cybersecurity training courses. • Create course materials and curricula that are up to date with current trends and industry standards. • Give practical training and real-world examples in subjects like penetration testing and/or GRC. • Assignments, tests, and hands-on activities are used to gauge and assess students' development. • To keep the course material current and applicable, stay up to date on the newest cybersecurity risks, tools, and best practices. • Mentor and assist students, offering direction to help them reach their academic and professional goals. • Work together with other educators and business leaders to improve the educational process as a whole.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a similar discipline. An advanced degree is preferred. • Three to five years of professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably in penetration testing or GRC. • Shown training or teaching experience and the capacity to communicate difficult ideas in an interesting and approachable way. • Strong knowledge of regulatory regulations, compliance standards, and cybersecurity frameworks. • Outstanding interpersonal, presenting, and communication abilities. • The capacity to uplift and encourage pupils of all backgrounds and abilities. • Dedication to lifelong study and professional development.
