Full Stack Engineer

Overview

A highly qualified Full Stack Developer is needed to join our team and help us create cutting-edge EdTech solutions that empower students. In addition to working on API and payment gateway integrations, this position entails working on every phase of the development lifecycle, from the front end to the back end. You will be a major contributor to the design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable digital products.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Create, evaluate, and implement complete solutions that address the front and back ends. • Front-end development is the process of creating and implementing features that interact with users, emphasising interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing, responsive, and accessible. • Back-end development: To guarantee optimal performance, create and manage the databases, data processing, API connections, and core application logic. • API and Integration: Create, implement, and oversee APIs to link the platform to third-party services and systems, such as payment gateways. • Payment Integration: Manage transactions, refunds, and payment confirmations by putting in place safe and dependable payment solutions. • Code optimisation: Make sure the code is secure, scalable, performant, and of good quality to ensure seamless operation even with heavy traffic. • Cooperation and Communication: To specify needs and guarantee alignment with business objectives, collaborate closely with members of the product, design, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Education: a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline, or work experience that is comparable. • Three or more years of experience as a full stack developer, ideally in an EdTech or comparable digital product setting. • Knowledge of front-end frameworks, such as Vue.js, Angular, or React. • Strong back-end skills with Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js, or comparable frameworks. • Strong knowledge of database management platforms, such as MongoDB and MySQL. • Knowledge of cloud computing systems, such as Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS. • Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs. • Awareness of appropriate practices for security, particularly with regard to payment integration.
