Offer administrative assistance to the Finance Department by executing clerical duties such as transaction processing and recording, report preparation, budget input facilitation, cash banking, handling customer and vendor communications, overseeing inventory, and fulfilling additional responsibilities as required.
- Assist in preparing statutory accounts
- Work with purchases ledgers and journals
- Record and file cash transactions
- Manage petty cash
- Process and file invoices
- Handle expense requests
- Reconcile bank and creditor accounts
- Manage the Asset Register
- Coordinate with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers
- Maintain filing and documentation
- Support audits, verify records, and resolve discrepancies
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Professional accounting qualification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with relevant accounting software is advantageous
- Proficiency in Pastel or similar accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Competent in Bookkeeping
- Strong numeracy and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and meticulousness
