Warranty Engineer – Automotive

Overview

The management and investigation of client warranty returns are under the purview of the Warranty Engineer. The Warranty Engineer pledges to serve as both the "voice of the customer" and the "quality expert." and will work with the manufacturing businesses to promote and support ongoing enhancements to the Quality System and design, production, and assembly processes. Reviewing and evaluating client warranties for failure mode or liability will be the role's responsibility. Discuss warranty concerns and trends with the manufacturer to enhance product quality; handle warranty claims for reimbursement; and be in charge of putting the company's policies and procedures into effect locally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team's technical point of reference and escalation, resolving unexpected and relatively complicated problems and offering counsel and direction on method and procedure to help others carry out their responsibilities. • Gain practical understanding of the organization's policies and processes, as well as regulatory codes and conduct codes that are pertinent to one's own job. Comply with mandated procedures to guarantee that one's own work is completed to the necessary standards. • To create typical reports, extract and merge data. • Make sure your workflow is prioritised and that the necessary criteria of timeliness, quality, and productivity are met; employ performance management techniques to enhance your own performance. • Utilising accepted financial systems and procedures, track and evaluate data. • Give detailed information about your products and services. • Keep track of and handle unusual or customised orders that might call for extra help to deliver, and work with those teams as needed.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering bachelor's degree. • He or she ought to have worked for a car dealership for a respectable amount of time. • Proficiency in Computer Use • Strong Communication Skills • Strong Negotiation Skills
