The Warranty Engineer is tasked with overseeing and analyzing customer warranty returns. This role involves serving as both the "quality expert" and the "voice of the customer," advocating for and supporting ongoing enhancements to the Quality System and the design, manufacturing, and assembly processes within the manufacturing companies.
Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing customer warranty claims to identify failure modes or responsibilities, liaising with manufacturing companies regarding warranty matters and trends to enhance product quality, processing warranty claims for payment, and ensuring the implementation of manufacturing company policies and procedures at the local level.
- Perform standard customer service tasks and address basic inquiries.
- Create positive customer experiences through courteous interactions.
- Stay updated on relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Understand and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
- Seek authorization for any deviations from standards.

- Determine optimal responses to routine inquiries.
- Communicate with debtors regarding outstanding payments and set deadlines.
- Generate accurate reports from various data sources.
- Utilize internal communications systems to access specific information as needed.
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis.
- Demonstrates effective verbal communication skills.
- Operates independently with occasional guidance to ensure full compliance.
- Exhibits a customer-focused approach to work.
- Works autonomously with occasional guidance to gather, organize, secure, and process data.
- Identifies, evaluates, prioritizes, and mitigates risks with occasional guidance.
- Competent in utilizing standard office equipment and software.

- Implements processes and procedures for intermediary claim processing.
