React Front-end Engineer

Overview

Using React.js and associated frameworks, a React Front End Engineer is in charge of creating and managing a software application's user interface. To make sure the software product's frontend is responsive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing, they collaborate closely with backend engineers, mobile engineers, and designers.

Responsibilities

• Strong command of TypeScript and JavaScript • Familiarity with React.js and associated libraries like MobX or Redux • Knowledge of responsive web design principles, HTML, and CSS • Knowledge of CSS frameworks like Material UI, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS • knowledge of version control systems like SVN and Git • Knowledge of software development techniques, including Scrum and Agile • Familiarity with testing frameworks like the React Testing Library, Jest, or Enzyme • Familiarity with client-side routing and server-side rendering • Knowledge of UI/UX design concepts and software, such Sketch or Figma • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities

Requirements

• Using React.js and associated libraries to create and manage a software application's user interface • Utilising the Tailwind CSS framework, HTML, and CSS to create and implement accessible and responsive websites • Using backend API integration to provide data on the frontend in a meaningful manner • Working together with designers to make sure the UI/UX design is both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly • Taking part in code reviews and helping to create standards for software development • Creating end-to-end and unit tests with the React Testing Library, Jest, or Enzyme • Taking part in sprints and retrospectives, two agile development approaches
