• Oversee the administration of all accounting processes, including revenue recognition and cost accounting. • Create budgets and financial projections in accordance with group norms, and report any deviations. • Provide the head of finance with timely, thorough reports on financial performance both annually and periodically. • Review monthly proofs of accounts and prepare and publish monthly financial statements on schedule. • Oversee the creation of regulatory reports and make sure that tax filings and reporting obligations are followed. • Serve as a point of contact for regulatory reviews and internal and external audits. • For compliance, look at technical accounting matters. • Make sure that all postings, financial transactions, paperwork, and financial reporting are quality controlled. • Make sure that the depreciation and amortisation schedules are followed and that the assets register is updated accurately to oversee the maintenance of the Fixed Assets register.
• A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting • Qualifications in professional accounting, such as CPA and ACCA • Verified experience in a comparable position and familiarity with local accounting laws • Extensive familiarity with accounting methods and principles • Adept at using financial management tools and Microsoft Office. • Strong morals, the capacity to handle private information, and financial statement preparation experience • Familiarity with the month-end/year-end close procedure and general ledger operations • Outstanding administrative and accounting software skills Outstanding numerical and analytical abilities
