Photo and Video Editor

Overview

To join our production team, we are seeking a creative and talented content editor (photo and video). Editing immersive live-action virtual reality recordings and 360-degree panoramic photos will fall within the purview of the content editor. The candidate will receive specialised training in editing high-quality VR photos and films, but immersive content experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Edit stunning 360-degree panoramic photos and captivating live-action virtual reality films, guaranteeing seamless transitions, clear views, and well-executed finished projects. • Work along with the content capture specialist to make sure the uncut video is arranged correctly and prepared for editing. • To comprehend the project's goal and convert it into immersive content, collaborate closely with the creative team. • Learn and use VR video editing techniques, such as stitching, integrating spatial audio, and applying special effects to 360-degree video formats. • Video material should be optimized for several platforms, including mobile, web, and VR headsets. • Oversee several projects concurrently, making sure that all due dates are fulfilled. • Diagnose and fix technical issues with editing VR photos and videos.

Requirements

• At least two years of video editing experience and familiarity with Adobe products, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop. • A bachelor's degree in multimedia arts, film, or a similar discipline • Strong command of rhythm, timing, and video storytelling. • Eagerness to master VR-specific post-production techniques and immersive video editing, including stitching. • Paying close attention to details, particularly to guarantee excellent audio and visual output. • The capacity to operate both individually and cooperatively in a creative team. • Strong ability to fulfil deadlines and manage time well.
