Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Officer to lead our accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Management of QuickBooks Accounting Software: • Maintain and update every feature of the program, such as tracking the total amount of money received from invoices for cash and credit sales. • monitoring payments to creditors and credit clients. • overseeing operational costs and petty cash transactions. • carrying out reconciliation and bank transactions. • Keeping track of both sellable and non-sellable inventory items. • keeping track of a variety of transactions, including payroll, employee advances and loans, consulting fees, taxes, and Plant, Property & Equipment (PPE) registers. Reporting on finances: • Create financial reports on a regular and quarterly basis. • Give management updates every day to aid in decision-making. Support for Operations: • Help with bill payment, utility management, statutory debt payment, cash counts, and banking operations.

Requirements

• three years or more of recent QuickBooks experience. • strong financial research and accounting abilities. • the capacity for independent work, self-management, and job prioritisation. • outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • a desire to grow, learn, and adjust to new situations. • proactive, self-driven, and capable of picking things up quickly. • strong precision and attention to detail in all facets of the job. • knowledgeable with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations.
