Project Architect

Overview

Using Building Information Modelling (BIM), leading Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) efforts, managing architectural projects, supervising submittals, and offering project management experience are all duties that the project architect will be accountable for.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. • Building Information Modelling (BIM): Utilize BIM software (e.g., Revit, Autodesk) to create, coordinate, and manage project models. • LEED and Sustainability: Lead LEED certification efforts, ensuring sustainable design and construction practices. • Design Development: Develop and refine architectural designs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards. • Submittal Management: Review, coordinate, and manage submittals from contractors and suppliers. • Construction Administration: Conduct site visits, address construction issues, and ensure compliance with design intent.

Requirements

• Skills related to architecture and Building Information Modelling (BIM) • Familiarity with submissions • Excellent communication and leadership abilities • The capacity to cooperate in a group setting • A professional LEED certification is advantageous, as is a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a similar discipline.
