Seeking Adaptable Waiters that are well-groomed and have excellent customer service abilities

Responsibilities

• Welcome and show patrons to their tables. • Display the menu and, upon request, give comprehensive details (e.g. regarding amounts, ingredients, or probable food allergies). • Arrange the linens, cutlery, and glasses on the tables. • Tell customers about the offers for the day. • Provide menu suggestions in response to enquiries. • When applicable, upsell extra goods. • Using order slips, POS ordering software, or by memory, take precise orders for food and beverages. • Verify consumers' identification to make sure they are of legal drinking age. • Inform the kitchen staff of the order specifics. • fulfil requests for food and beverages. • Verify the cleanliness and appearance of the dishes and utensils, and report any issues. • Set the tables and keep the eating area neat. • Deliver checks and collect money for bills.

Requirements

• a track record of success as a waiter or waitress • practical knowledge of ordering information systems and cash registers (such as Toast POS or Revel POS) • Fundamental mathematical abilities • Being patient and paying attention to consumers • Outstanding ability to present • Excellent multitasking and organising abilities, as well as the capacity to function well in a hectic setting, active listening, and good communication • Teamwork and the ability to work in different shifts • A high school degree and knowledge of food safety are advantages.
