Overview

Managing the business's financial operations and making sure that accounting procedures are accurate, compliant, and efficient will be crucial responsibilities of the chosen applicant.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure that accounting records and allocations (general account, supplier, customer, and individual) are kept up to date. • Make certain that every entry in the books is accompanied by a "journal entry approval form" that has been authorised at the proper level. • Make that the monthly reconciliation file procedure in Blackline is prepared and maintained on time. • Oversee a precise and hygienic intercompany account with the team. • Create the Monthly Management Report (MMR) so the Chief Accountant can verify it. • Organise the audit procedure and guarantee an on-time interim and annual audit. • Helps with company Equipment's yearly financial statement preparation. • Reconciles costs, analyses gross margin, and calculates capital expenditures for the Monthly Management Report (MMR). • verifies minor cash transactions and bank postings. • Provides account officers with training as needed. • Senior Accounts Officers' stand-ins during their absence • Carries out any additional tasks that the business assigns you • Help with the setup

Requirements

• Professional qualifications such as a B.Sc. or BA degree are advantageous. Graduate, CIMA, ICA, and ACCA • Four or more years of relevant work experience in a comparable position • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software • Team player with strong management and supervisory skills • Understanding of Ghanaian tax laws and accounting • Capacity to guide and motivate people • Capacity to keep an eye on another' performance or work activities • Capacity to foster dedication to the position and the company • The capacity to focus on specifics • The capacity to function both alone and together. • The capacity to think creatively and deliberately in order to disrupt patterns • The capacity to adhere to schedules and other obligations • Capacity to establish difficult growth objectives for oneself and others and to create strategies to reach these
