Overview

Designing data gathering methods, carrying out thorough data analysis, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting impact learnings are all critical tasks for a data analyst. In order to guarantee accurate and perceptive data analysis that guides decision-making and propels sustainability initiatives, you will work with a variety of teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Help in the creation of data collection instruments: • Work together as a team to create surveys and data gathering instruments. • Participate in the development and execution of data gathering procedures. Offer assistance with impact learnings: • Support the execution of learning studies and effect evaluations. • Encourage data analysis to provide insightful conclusions and suggestions. Thorough data analysis and insight sharing: • Analyse data in-depth utilising software and statistical methods. • Use reports and presentations to communicate important discoveries and insights to stakeholders. Monitoring and evaluating data from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Work together with groups to establish and monitor KPIs for sustainability projects. • Examine KPI data to track developments, spot patterns, and formulate informed suggestions. Take part in surveyor training for mapping and data collection: • Encourage surveyors to get training on mapping procedures and data gathering techniques. • Make that the right procedures and instruments are used for precise data collecting. Setting up tools for KPI analysis and reporting: • Participate in the creation and application of solutions that make KPI reporting and analysis easier. • Assure the reporting systems' data integrity and correctness. Extraction of data for the sustainability team as a whole: • Gather and gather pertinent information for the sustainability team's analysis from a variety of sources. • Help in the preparation of data sets for particular initiatives or projects. Building dashboards to monitor sustainability KPIs: • Create and manage dynamic dashboards to monitor and visualise sustainability KPIs. • To guarantee efficient dashboard reporting, cooperate with stakeholders. Act as validators of field data: • Keep an eye on and verify the accuracy of the data that coaches and cooperatives supply. • Give advice and comments to enhance the completeness and accuracy of the data. In charge of gathering ad hoc data for learning studies and effect assessments: • Organise the gathering of information for impact analyses, learning studies, and ad hoc initiatives. • Verify adherence to project specifications and data gathering procedures.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience and a bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a similar discipline. • Competence with data analysis methods, such as data mining, data modelling, data visualisation, and statistical analysis. It is very preferred if you have experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI as well as statistical software packages like R, Python, SAS, etc. • Strong programming abilities in R or Python, two languages frequently utilised in data research. Additionally useful is familiarity with SQL for data searching and processing. • Knowledgeable about the fundamentals of data management, such as data integration, data cleansing, and data quality control. • Strong quantitative abilities, such as a firm grasp of statistical and mathematical principles and the capacity to use them to solve practical data analysis issues. • Knowledgeable about data manipulation features, pivot tables, and sophisticated algorithms in analytical software like Excel. • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the capacity to deconstruct complicated issues, see trends, and create original solutions. • Critical thinking abilities to assess and analyse facts, spot patterns, and derive significant conclusions. • Excellent organisational abilities, including the capacity to set priorities, oversee several projects at once, and adhere to deadlines. • Strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking, with the capacity to explain technical ideas to stakeholders who are not technical as well as those who are. Excellent presenting abilities to provide ideas based on facts. • Proven capacity for teamwork in a collaborative setting, interacting with coworkers from all backgrounds and fostering an open and upbeat work culture
