Human Resources Business Partner

Overview

With a dotted line to the Head of Region Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will be an important element of the Ghanaian management team, reporting to the Country Manager.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-rate HR services on a daily basis to all employees and other managers as internal clients. • Assure administrative HR management and adherence to regional laws: management of employment contracts, wages, taxes, and pensions • Maintain current pay rates in line with the market by making sure that market data on perks and compensation is correct. • HR statistics and metrics: preserve the security and integrity of personnel information and documentation, HR KPI metrics • Make sure the HR Information System's 100% accurate personnel database is updated, and keep an eye on the monthly HR reports and organisational charts. • Make sure the company has a solid succession strategy and talent pool. • Make sure that the mandatory training plan for each function and the individual/function learning plan are followed. • Organise host nation data for foreign employees in accordance with the terms and circumstances of their employment contracts. • In all HR-related concerns, make sure the workplace is healthy (Great Place to Work).

Requirements

• A master's degree in human resources or a related discipline • Seven years or more of experience managing human resources or a related role in a global corporation or multicultural setting. • HR Functions of a business partner to others: Managing Director, Finance, Sourcing, Logistics, WAF Region HR, and the Global People team collaborating with outside suppliers and partners on labour legislation and personnel management. • strong familiarity with and adherence to Ghanaian local labour and employment laws Outstanding interpersonal abilities and boldness • Excellent business acumen and a strong interest in human resources • Self-starting individual with creative skills • The fundamentals of finance for an HR budget and effective cost control in respect to the market. • Goal-oriented and results-driven
