Overview

In order to increase online sales, the e-commerce manager will be in charge of administering the e-commerce platform, supervising the online sales strategy, organising digital marketing campaigns, evaluating sales statistics, and improving the user experience.

Responsibilities

• E-commerce Platform Management: Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of the e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless user experience, security, and scalability. • Online Sales Strategy: Develop and execute online sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase conversion rates, and enhance customer engagement. • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels (email, social media, search engine optimization) to drive traffic, boost sales, and build brand awareness. • Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities, optimize sales funnels, and inform business decisions. • User Experience Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the user experience across all touchpoints, ensuring intuitive navigation, clear product information, and streamlined checkout processes. • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs, providing regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• The ability to decipher and evaluate e-commerce data in order to make well-informed business decisions is an example of analytical skills. • Communication: Excellent verbal and writing communication abilities to work with stakeholders and team members • Sales and E-Commerce: Using e-commerce platforms and sales tactics to increase online income • Marketing: familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce; understanding of digital marketing strategies to improve online presence and consumer engagement • Shown ability to boost income and sales online • A diploma in business administration, marketing, or a similar discipline
