Backend Engineer

Overview

We're seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity for our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and keep up backend services. • Create and put into use RESTful APIs for a range of financial goods. • Work together with cross-functional teams to improve the scalability and performance of your services. • Take part in code reviews to help the development process get better all the time. • Debug and troubleshoot problems in a distributed microservices context.

Requirements

• A computer science bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • A minimum of three years of expertise as a software engineer contributing to an engineering team. • Familiarity with Python as a backend language. • Familiarity with AWS services (SQS, Lambda, S3, SNS). • Practical knowledge of cloud services, preferably on AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, and SNS. • Strong knowledge in the construction and design of RESTful APIs. • Strong interpersonal abilities and a cooperative attitude. • Advantage: Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Cross Plane) and CI/CD technologies.
