Senior Associate - Tech Assurance

Overview

We are looking to add a capable and experienced Senior Associate (with an emphasis on Tech Assurance) to our team in our IT Advisory business. In this job, you will assist in the planning, implementation and leadership of IT Audits and IT Assurance projects.

Responsibilities

• As part of the financial statement, conduct IT risk assessments and review the layout, presence, and functionality of IT controls in the various IT system applications. • Examine the IT systems' security, continuity, and dependability. • Determine and share with audit client management IT findings and possibilities for improvement. • As per company methodology and best practices, test both application and generic IT controls. • Set priorities, help with the scheduling of the audit tests, and communicate with auditees to get the information you need. • Carry out assurance work on a range of IT domains and technologies inside the auditee company. Evaluate the internal controls' operational efficacy as well as their design. • For a variety of software application packages, document, test, and validate application and automated controls. • Examine measures intended to stop or identify fraud, including those that are overridden by management. • Assure the caliber of the outputs and the labor. • Respect deadlines for all customers' deliverables in accordance with engagement requirements and senior team members' guidance.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a similar discipline. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in technology risk management, emerging technology risk assessment, and application audit. • Attainment of professional credentials like CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or CGAP, or advancement towards them. • Strong familiarity with infrastructure-related risks and controls, IT standards and practices, and technology, especially in the areas of security and IT control frameworks. • Familiarity with testing controls in a range of IT environments, such as Unix, Linux, SAP, and Oracle.
