Responsibilities

• Promote and advertise the company's governance procedure to clients and other stakeholders as well as to colleagues inside the organisation. • Determine and explain the legal and regulatory standards that Metropolitan Health must comply with. Examine new laws to see how they may affect our company. • Determine the business's internal control and compliance concerns. • Lead the charge in putting controls in place to reduce the risk of noncompliance and inadequate internal controls. • aid in the establishment of a compliance culture in the company. • Create reports and a compliance risk manual. • Create draft control evaluations and compliance risk monitoring strategies. • Help the company integrate compliance procedures into its operational procedures. • Provide the required reports to the regulators on time. • Provide the Direct Manager with monthly compliance and risk reports. • Provide advice to company executives on the best ways to address and reduce compliance issues. • Manage the library of contracts and agreements • Perform any additional assignment assigned by Supervisor within scope and subject of job

Requirements

• A strong foundational degree in business administration, law, or social sciences. It is strongly advised that a lawyer with one to three years of bar experience apply. • Two to three years of appropriate experience in the financial services sector with compliance • Familiarity with carrying out compliance and internal control audits. • Ability to make advice to company in regard of internal control and compliance controls and minimisation of compliance risk. • Proficiency in evaluating the sufficiency and coherence of internal controls and compliance
