Supply Chain Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Export: Bond facility processes for CCVO/CEPS, loading trucks and containers, export documentation, and BIVAC/COTECNA procedures • Import: Coordinating with the Singapore desk, coordinating with the shipping line, customs, port authority, agents, and coordinating import tracking and documentation. • Storage: In-bond, FIFO tracking, Dally inventory inspection, Truck Load Plan validation, and Staffing agreements with labour contractors • Distribution: Truck contract with labour contractor; payments to the transporter Verification from clients prior to loading • Depot Management: Coordinating with Synergy to monitor and manage stock requirements; auditing the depot for damage destruction and FIFO; and managing the depot system and MIS. • Maintaining optimal inventory levels and keeping an eye on them to prevent excess stock outs • Service Parameter and Sales Interface: Providing Customers with Effective Service • Frequent trips to depots in places like Kumasi • Direct communication with the Warehouse Team Van Sales and Kumasi: Accounting and Control of Van Fuel Overseeing Olam's Vehicles Coordination, planning, and effective management of the storage of products • Maintaining current stock control systems and routinely checking stock levels with SAP • Make future needs plans. • Transporting merchandise to different dealers and vendors is your responsibility. • Maintenance of stock placement as well as documentation (stack card, ledger maintenance)

Requirements

• First Degree Requirement Minimum in the pertinent field. • 12 years minimum of experience in a fast-paced supply chain management position • Other comparable credentials • The capacity to multitask and oversee several projects at once • Understanding of food safety regulations and the needs of the food industry. • Thorough understanding of food processing facilities and technologies • Organising and preparing. • Interaction and cooperation. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; able to draft ideas, policies, and procedures; proficient in efficient presentation and time management
