Auto Mechanic Team Leader

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Auto repair staff Leader to lead our repair staff in our transport department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, lead, and assist a group of auto technicians with routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Assign and oversee task orders to make sure the team adheres to quality standards and production timetables.
• Apply practical mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills, emphasizing both breakdown and preventive maintenance.
• Make ensuring that corporate rules and safety laws are followed.
• Ensure sufficient stock for continuing operations by supervising the inventory management of tools and parts.
• Team members can be trained and mentored to improve their abilities and create a collaborative work atmosphere.
• In order to provide effective customer service and workflow, collaborate with other departments.
• Keep thorough service logs and make sure that all repairs and maintenance are properly documented.

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering degree.
• A minimum of three years' experience in a leadership capacity combined with demonstrable expertise as a vehicle mechanic.
• Strong technical understanding of the engine, gearbox, electrical, and HVAC systems of vehicles.
• The capacity to identify and fix a wide range of car brands and models.
• Strong team management and leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and lead a group of people.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and safety procedures.
