Head of Engineering Department

Overview

The Chief of the Engineering Department will be in charge of leading a group of engineers, supervising engineering projects, and guaranteeing that projects are completed successfully, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring innovative solutions and optimal resource allocation. • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. • Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards. • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices. • Resource Allocation: Plan and manage engineering resources, including staffing, budgeting, and vendor partnerships. • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and reliability of engineering outputs, implementing processes and metrics to measure performance and drive improvement.

Requirements

• Project management and engineering management abilities • Expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering; manufacturing industry experience is advantageous • outstanding team management and leadership skills • Excellent ability to solve problems and make decisions • A professional engineering license is a bonus. A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related discipline • It is beneficial to have prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
