Finance Operations Manager

Overview

The organization's overall finance and operations management will fall under the purview of the Finance and Operations Manager (F&O).

Responsibilities

• Preserving robust internal controls • Making sure accounting software postings are accurate • Month-end closing process • Creating management accounting • Getting year-end accounting ready for the yearly audit • Working together for the statutory audit with the auditors • Creating reports for funders • Making plans for the budget • ensuring the timely completion of statutory filings

Requirements

• An ICA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA-qualified accountant • Project management certification and at least five years of post-qualification experience • Experience managing the finances of projects financed by donors • Experience involving both internal and external stakeholders in the management of projects • Familiarity with evaluating workplans and other project-related plans • Outstanding writing and communication abilities. • Powerful interpersonal abilities • Strong computer abilities, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
