Mechanical Supervisor

Overview

You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of projects as a member of the Intervention Team and receive on-site mentoring from our specialists.

Responsibilities

• Respect and abide by QHSSE guidelines. • possess the ability to complete related check-up lists and adhere to maintenance schedules (monitoring of spinning equipment). has the ability to do routine lubrication and top off with the appropriate lubricant as needed. • has the ability to install and prepare any kind of flange gasket. Finish bolting using the prescribed methods. • possess the ability to align tension belts, pulleys, and V-belts according to procedure. • It should be possible to overhaul and do small modifications (such as tightening gland packing) on popular types of valves while they are in use. • Be able to inspect and identify defects in the gear box and align the gears. • Being able to help with alignment (preparing, cutting shim material for alignment, levelling, etc.) and fault detection for rotating machinery is essential.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production systems, a Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + three years of study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent • A solid understanding of the equipment utilized in oil and gas treatment plants, as well as the fundamentals of the process of treating oil and gas
