Overview

In this role, you will lead and enhance the sales strategy and strategies that drive revenue growth and market share increase on the e-commerce platform. To forecast trends, set sales targets, and spot possibilities for sales optimisation and growth, this position requires a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry, consumer behaviour, and sales analytics.

Responsibilities

• Development of Sales Strategies: Create and uphold a thorough sales plan that is in line with the objectives of the business and available market prospects. This covers price plans, target client segments, market analysis, and sales channel optimisation. • Sales forecasting: To predict sales performance with accuracy, use sales analytics, market trends, and historical data. Update sales projections frequently in light of shifting market dynamics and real sales results. • Performance analysis: Examine sales information to find patterns, chances, and areas in need of development. To maximise performance, give the sales and marketing teams useful knowledge. • Interdepartmental Collaboration: To guarantee alignment between sales goals and other business activities, collaborate closely with the teams in charge of marketing, product development, customer service, and finance. Encourage teamwork and communication in order to hit sales goals. • Using the estimated customer lifetime value (CLTV), lead the communications and digital marketing team in promoting win-back initiatives to desirable lost customers. • Take the lead on the promotional strategy playbook by implementing plays (such as coupons, discounts, and product- and order-level promotions) that will increase consumer traffic, transactional and non-transactional conversions, baskets, and the horizontal penetration of the product category. • Keep track of important dates for product line launches and sales in relation to marketing and sales by working with the product teams, public relations, advertising, customer support, and other channels. • Makes incremental improvements to our app experience by continuously optimising processes and procedures utilising A/B testing and user feedback.

Requirements

• 7 years experience in E-commerce, Sales, Marketing • Professional Certification is an added advantage • An ability to understand buyer needs • Know the sales process • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Creativity and writing skills • Good teamwork • Communication skills and networking • Adaptability • Good organization and planning skills
