Head of Finance, Africa

Overview

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee financial operations across Africa. The Head of Finance, Africa will develop and implement financial strategies, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• As a prominent figure in Ghanaian and Ugandan finance as well as future locations where the company will conduct business, you will have a big impact. • In charge of overseeing team leads in each of the organization's operating nations and handling accounting and financial matters for Fido Africa. • You will collaborate directly with a variety of stakeholders, including as investors, lenders, regulators, and executive leadership. • In Africa (FP&A), you will be in charge of forecasting, treasury, and budgeting. • You will do financial modelling and analyse various site performances and KPIs. • Under the Group VP of Finance's direction

Requirements

• An accounting bachelor's degree is essential. • Eight years or more of experience working as a director of finance or as the head of accounting. • Work experience of at least two years in a financial role at a multinational company is required. • Three years or more of managing experience is required. • Experience in financial modelling is advantageous • Experience with accounting ERP software, either as a user or as an implementer in a business, is advantageous. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical abilities. • Capacity to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
