Organize the daily operations of the proprietors of the paddy procurement and out grower models.
• Oversee and plan the unit's daily procurement activities, making sure that appropriate sourcing takes place in the operational area. • Take the lead in paddy procurement by using the out-grower model, direct purchases from commercial farmers, and suppliers of farm inputs. • Organize a group of procurement officers and foster communication with aggregators beneath them. • Establish weekly goals for the procurement officers and implement strategies to meet those goals. • Manage the purchasing goals for the season with suppliers of agricultural inputs. • Coordinating and controlling procurement-related expenses. • Providing weekly paddy prices and zonal procurement statistics for the main paddy-growing regions. • Arranging and arranging the finances and logistics of the purchase. • Confirming that the products acquired fulfill contract/company specifications. • Keeping an eye on the procurement officer's actions and guaranteeing the integrity of the products being bought. • Covering the dynamics of the local market both during and after the season. • Creating and managing a regionally-focused aggregator database that includes pertinent information regarding procurement capabilities and control areas. • Helping the BH with budgeting and planning. • Generate reports after analyzing procurement data.
• Master's or MBA program in agribusiness, procurement, natural resources, or agriculture. • A minimum of five years' experience in the cashew/paddy business or in a role comparable to it. • This job requires frequent travel to important paddy growing regions. The individual will work out of either Navrongo or Volta.
