In the markets of Sierra Leone and Ghana, the Country Sales and Account Manager is in charge of carrying out sales in accordance with the company's sales plan and activities, following Interswitch's sales policies and procedures, making sure that all legal requirements are met, and reporting progress to the Head of Sales and Account Management.
Data Exploration, Insights and Reporting • Improve service delivery by using sales tools and techniques and establishing reliable customer communication channels. • Utilize data from a variety of sources to analyze major topics, spot patterns in client interests, sales direction, and direction, and recommend modifications to products and services in accordance with national regulations. • Participate in the creation of different analytics and data reports. • Create weekly progress reports that outline how tasks are going in relation to the assigned deadlines, important risk and control indicators, and general enhancements to the present processes and procedures that reduce pertinent risks. Send these reports to the appropriate Team Lead or Head. Customer Relationship Management / Account Management / Prospecting • Serve as the initial point of contact for all clients in the country. Respond to their questions and concerns, forward difficult issues to the Team Lead or Head of Company Sales, and make sure the customer gets the right answer. • Implement sales integration and engage in dialogue with subsidiaries, service providers, and business partners. • Participate in meetings with pertinent stakeholders, gather customer wants and needs about sales procedures and requirements, and carry out sales mitigation initiatives in accordance with directives. • Establish and preserve enduring connections with consultants, clients, contractors, and regulators both nationally and inside the sales ecosystem. • Answer questions from clients, both internal and external, by giving details on intricate procedures and client specifications. When needed, make referrals to other experts to help with requirement interpretation and scoping. Sell Customer Propositions • Choose the goods or services that most closely match the needs expressed by the client, utilize your own experience to suggest quantities and product configurations, walk the client through the selection process, and provide an invitation to buy at the regular price and terms and conditions of the sale. • Provide the customer with a well-reasoned explanation of these in normal business language. If needed, include the Team Lead or corporate sales in your request for concessions (such a price decrease) that the customer will accept. Operational Compliance • To make sure that one's own work complies with the standards set forth by Interswitch, get knowledge and comprehension of the company's policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory and ethical requirements. • To make an exemption to the required process, get permission from the Purepay Sales Team Lead.
• A first degree from university in any discipline linked to finance, including sales, marketing, or business administration. • A minimum of five years' experience in sales or related client-facing positions (such as business development, customer support, etc.) is required to be able to assist others and handle most scenarios. • Experience working for a national financial company, fintech company, or MMO. • Planning and organizing, data collection, analysis, assessment, and control. • Regulations, Processes, and Policy • Starts Captivating Sales Dialogues • Understands and Controls Purchasing Influences • Customer-focused methodology that fosters rapport
