• It is preferred to have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline or a technical profession like engineering. • Technical sales experience, ideally gained in a business-to-business setting. • Knowledge of a variety of technical goods and services and the capacity to pick up product knowledge fast. • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, including consultative selling and solution selling approaches. • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. • A current driver's license and the availability to travel for client meetings and industry gatherings as needed. • Excellent technical knowledge, comprehension of the goods and services being offered, and the capacity to explain difficult technical ideas to audiences who are not technical.
