Production Manager

Overview

In addition to managing production schedules and making sure quality control standards are followed on the factory floor; the production manager will be in charge of supervising the manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives. • Process Optimization: Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components. • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Team Management: Supervise and motivate production teams to achieve performance targets and improve productivity. • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock levels, and optimize inventory turnover. • Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Knowledge of controlling production schedules and manufacturing procedures • Strong leadership and communication abilities Proficiency with industrial manufacturing quality control requirements • Decision-making and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or associated industries • A bachelor's degree in production management, engineering, or a related discipline
