Maintenance Planner

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and facilities. Your expertise will enable us to optimize maintenance schedules, reduce downtime, and improve overall productivity.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules. • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities. • Prioritize and optimize maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality and business needs. Maintenance Data Management • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance performance. Resource Allocation and Coordination • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure adequate resources (personnel, materials, equipment). • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations. • Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and services. Budgeting and Cost Control • Develop and manage maintenance budgets. • Analyze and report on maintenance costs. • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Continuous Improvement • Identify and implement best practices in maintenance planning. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. • Participate in reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in maintenance planning or related field particularly in the mining industry with heavy mobile equipments. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
