Maintaining correct financial records for the firm and its associates, as well as accurately recording and managing financial transactions, will be a major responsibility of the accountant. A great eye for detail, outstanding organizational abilities, and a solid grasp of accounting concepts are required of the perfect applicant.
• Handle and document all financial transactions, such as estimates, bills, settlements, and outlays. • Make sure financial statements are accurate and do routine bank reconciliations. • As needed, create and turn in financial reports, such as balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements. • Assist with external audits and participate in internal auditing tasks. • Reconcile statements, take care of vendor data, and settle any payment disputes. • Handle the payroll of employees and the necessary statutory payments. • Make sure that all tax-related duties are met, including maintaining tax-related paperwork and filing tax returns.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline. • A qualification in accounting is advantageous. • Three years or more of experience in finance or accounting. • Solid understanding of accounting rules, procedures, and concepts. • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and computerized accounting software (QuickBooks). • Outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems. • Interpersonal and communication abilities that work. • Knowledge of tax laws and its observance.
