The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is in charge of managing the company's financial strategy, planning, and operations. In financial decision-making, the CFO exercises leadership to guarantee the long-term viability and steady expansion of the business. In addition to overseeing budgeting and planning, this position involves managing financial risks and making sure financial standards are followed.
• Create and carry out the company's overarching financial plan in accordance with its operational goals. • Provide financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment strategies, and capital structure advice to the CEO and board of directors. • Offer analysis and suggestions for both short- and long-term growth strategies. • Take the lead in creating and overseeing the yearly budget and financial projections. • Evaluate the financial performance and offer suggestions for increasing income, decreasing expenses, and increasing efficiency. • Financial risks, such as credit, operational, market, and liquidity risks, should be recognized and managed. • Make sure the proper risk reduction and management techniques are used. • To safeguard business assets, oversee insurance and risk management procedures. • Verify the integrity and correctness of the company's financial records and statements. • Make sure that all local and international legal, tax, and regulatory standards are met. • Manage audits and collaborate with tax authorities and outside auditors. • To guarantee a healthy cash flow and capital investment, manage the capital structure and liquidity of the firm. • When required, oversee stock, debt finance, and other capital raising strategies. • Establish and preserve connections with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions. • oversee the organization's treasury operations, making sure that liquidity, investment plans, and cash management are all done effectively. • Control currency risks, including foreign exchange and other currency hazards. • Oversee and guide the accounting and finance departments to ensure ongoing growth and effectiveness. • Encourage the financial department to have a high-performing, accountable, and compliant culture.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similar discipline; a master's degree or MBA in a comparable subject is desirable. • A bonus is having CPA or CFA certification. • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of steadily increasing responsibility in the financial or accounting fields, with a strong emphasis on senior leadership positions. • A track record of success in corporate finance management, including reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning. • Strong familiarity with risk management procedures, regulatory compliance, and company finance legislation. • Familiarity with financial technology and ERP systems. • Outstanding analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and leadership skills.
