• Continually seek business opportunities (business development) in the following areas: mining, oil and gas, food and beverage, agriculture, and other industries. • Take part in the tendering and pre-qualification procedures. • Make sure the chemical department is capable and competent in accordance with the demands of the business. • Supervise the formulation and implementation of chemical delivery activities. • cultivate and preserve relationships with clients. • accountable for ensuring that projects and campaigns are finished on time, under budget, and in compliance with HSEQS regulations, as well as client demands and corporate objectives. • When possible, do site visits to involve management and offer assistance for continuing operations. • Keep maintain a great rapport with your local and international partners, suppliers, vendors, and resellers.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or chemistry, or an equivalent degree. • A thorough understanding of logistics, appropriate storage facilities, blending requirements, and all other regulatory and compliance needs in the chemical regulatory environment. • Skills related to business development, sales, and marketing. • Proficiency with the chemicals used in the chosen sectors. • Three (3) years of minimum experience working in the chemicals business. • Prior work experience in the mining or oil and gas sectors is advantageous.
