Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports • Conduct site measurements and surveys to determine project quantities • Analyze and interpret project data, including costs, schedules, and resources • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering solutions • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project deliverables • Manage and administer contracts, including tendering, procurement, and dispute resolution • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field • 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying • Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and regulations • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills • Ability to work in a team environment and lead junior surveyors • Proficiency in software, such as Excel, Word, and project management tools • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
