Civil Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team of professionals. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, water treatment plants, and other public works • Conduct site investigations, surveys, and analyses to inform design decisions • Create and review engineering plans, specifications, reports, and other documents • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies • Conduct inspections and monitoring to ensure quality and safety • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering problems and conflicts • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices • Develop and implement new technologies and innovations to improve project outcomes • Mentor and train junior engineers and interns • Participate in business development and marketing efforts to secure new projects • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a senior role • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and software • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills • Ability to work in a team environment and lead junior engineers • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation • Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and geographic information systems (GIS) • Strong analytical and mathematical skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
