Stock Auditor

Overview

To make sure we have precise inventory counts, we have an immediate vacancy for an inventory auditor.

Responsibilities

• As merchandise is delivered, note it; examine it and offer storage recommendations in accordance with corporate guidelines. • Check the physical inventory every day, reconcile any discrepancies with the computerized inventory, and report the findings to the COO and auditors once a week. • Keep track of your outside stocks every day and reconcile them. • Make requests to the warehouse for stock replenishment as needed. • Make sure the merchandise is transferred to the trucks on time and in accordance with the delivery schedule. • accountable for keeping up-to-date stock listings. • Plan the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse and organize the movement of goods from one warehouse to another. • Work together with stakeholders and other departments to create strategic plans and processes that will improve the effectiveness of warehouse operations. fixes common equipment problems. • Maintain strict quality standards and inventory controls, and report any deviations for audit reasons. • Make sure the items that the warehouse receives match the real supplier bills. • Work along with the warehouse staff to put in place and monitor a control system that will reduce damage, breakage, and rotting of stock. • Gather damage records and make sure the system is modified accordingly. • Make sporadic comparisons between the system records and the warehouse's stock balances to identify any discrepancies; • Assemble and preserve file records for stocks that are issued and received (sales). • Make that delivery routes are properly planned. • Make sure that every client pays for trade delivery on schedule.

Requirements

• Male • HND with five years of stock management experience and a degree in accounting or stock auditing
