The accountant will be in charge of overseeing FH Depot's financial documentation. In order to support the operational goals of the organization, this function requires making sure that accounting standards are followed, accurate financial reporting is made, and efficient financial management is in place.
• Accurately create and keep up-to-date cash flow, income, and balance sheets, among other financial statements. • Make that year-end and month-end closure procedures are completed on schedule. • Prepare financial reports and provide them to management. • Oversee the processing of payments, vendor reconciliation, and invoice verification for accounts payable. • Ensure prompt invoicing, collections, and client account reconciliation by supervising the accounts receivable department. • aid in the creation of financial projections and annual budgets. • Track financial performance and offer an analysis of variances. • Keep up with the general ledger and make sure all of your financial transactions are accurate. • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis. • Verify adherence to pertinent tax laws, business procedures, and accounting standards. • Arrange matters with outside auditors and have the paperwork ready for inspections. • Manage the accounting for inventory, keeping an eye on the quantity, price, and cost of products sold. • Assist the operations group in maintaining correct inventory records. • Help with payroll processing and make sure employee wages are paid out on schedule and accurately. • Keep track of payroll documentation and make sure all applicable laws are followed. • Perform financial analysis, such as cost analysis, profitability analysis, and financial performance measures, to assist in making business choices. • Determine where there are chances to save costs and streamline procedures. • Put in place and keep up strong internal controls and financial systems. • Help in the choice and application of financial tools, such as accounting software.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline. Preferred professional certifications include ACCA/ICA or equivalent. • Three to five years' minimum of accounting experience, ideally in a distribution or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting. • Strong understanding of tax laws, financial reporting, and accounting concepts. • proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, and SAP). • Outstanding analytical abilities and meticulousness. • Strong time-management and organizing abilities. • The capacity to function both alone and together. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
