Electrical Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and devices • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, identifying and replacing faulty components • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently • Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and other technicians on projects and tasks • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician or related role • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical technology • Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and safety protocols • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipment • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
