Elevator Technician

Overview

In Accra, Ghana, we are searching for a qualified and experienced elevator technician to join our team. Lift and elevator system installation, upkeep, and repairs will fall under the purview of the chosen applicant. To guarantee the safe and effective functioning of this job, a mix of technical competence in mechanical and electrical systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Elevator System Installation: Install new lift and elevator systems in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer requirements. • Maintenance and service: To guarantee that elevators run effectively and safely, do routine maintenance inspections and service. • Repairs and Troubleshooting: We diagnose, debug, and fix a variety of elevator system problems. • Safety Compliance and Inspections: To avoid mishaps and malfunctions, make sure that all work conforms with safety laws and conduct routine safety inspections. • Record-keeping and Reporting: Keep thorough records of all your installation, upkeep, and repair work. Compile thorough reports for clients and management.

Requirements

• Expertise: Three years or more of practical expertise setting up and maintaining lift and elevator systems. • Technical expertise: Excellent knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in elevator technology. • The ability to pay close attention to details and adhere to technical manuals and directions. • Problem-Solving Skills: Able to recognize issues quickly and come up with workable solutions. • Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for interacting with clients and team members.
