Accountant

Overview

The accountant will be in charge of creating and overseeing budgets, guaranteeing the correctness of our financial accounts, offering financial forecasts and analysis, and making sure that all applicable laws are followed. 
This position requires a cooperative partner with great analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as a solid grasp of financial concepts. He or she ought to have a compelling argument and the ability to persuade higher ups to agree with them.

Responsibilities

Oversee the whole financial operations of the business, including cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting.

In compliance with accounting standards, create and keep up-to-date accurate financial statements and reports.

Prepare performance reports for the top management on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Inform the senior leadership team of financial results, trends, and business ramifications in a clear, concise manner to facilitate prompt and efficient decision-making.

Administer internal control rules and protocols to guarantee adherence to regulatory mandates.

Create and preserve connections with other parties (banks, investors, auditors, etc.).

Provide well-reasoned advice after doing a financial analysis of possible purchases or investments.

Give advice on tax planning techniques to reduce taxable income.

Keep an eye on any changes to laws or regulations that could have an impact on the organization's finances.

Requirements

Degrees in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.

Partially certified by the CIMA, ICAG, or ACCA.
 

Two years at least of experience in a comparable position. 
 

Strong understanding of accounting and finance practices. 
 

Familiarity with cloud-based banking applications. 
 

Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel. 
 

Outstanding numerical, analytical, and project management abilities. 
 

Excellent communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
