Overview

Responsibilities

• Finalize related drawings and paperwork by coordinating with quantity surveyors and engineers. • Perform contract administration for projects being built. • Participate in workshops and design team meetings, and draft minutes. Teams should monitor the action items. • Create and submit regular progress reports to the client and project coordinator. • Help the design coordinator oversee the Design Development drawings as they go through the stages of coordinator and client approvals and sign-offs. • Help to organize the cross-checking of designs and documentation between engineers and architects • Track and keep track of the topography, geotechnical studies, and site evaluations, reporting findings to the project coordinator and design consultants. • Every hospital's cost should be monitored and evaluated to make sure it stays within its allocated budget. • Track the coordination of the BOQ with the cooperation of the civil and structural engineers, MEP, room data sheets, and specifications. Coordinator of Design for Deviations • Oversee and manage work schedules for various consulting teams, providing guidance on adhering to the timetable. Give consultant teams advice regarding notifications • Participates in the administration and support of construction projects, responding to clarification requests, examining submittals, and creating drawings for design modifications. • Create and illustrate functioning architectural designs and details. • Create the technical requirements. • Assemble and verify matching engineering drawings. • Organize and verify the relevant Bills of Quantities. • Control of design drawings and documentation and quality assurance

Requirements

• Obtaining a professional postgraduate diploma or a master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution or university. • It is necessary to be registered as a professional with the Ghana Institutes of Architects (GIA) or a comparable professional organization. • Five (5) years minimum of experience in architectural design • Capable and eager to work under duress • A strong desire to achieve professional levels of perfection • Strong self-management abilities to oversee several tasks at once Exceptional judgment when using suitable methods and techniques of theories, techniques, practices, and procedures of the field • Continue to provide intricate plans and details your full attention. • Examine and revise other people's writing. • Recognize and comprehend the dynamics of design and project teams. • Powerful project management abilities
