Architect

Overview

Creating creative and sustainable building structures, liaising with customers and construction teams, and guaranteeing adherence to safety and building codes are all part of the job description of an architect.

Responsibilities

• Design buildings and structures, including creating blueprints, models, and renderings. • Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to present design concepts. • Conduct site analyses to determine feasibility of design plans. • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources. • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. • Oversee construction progress, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

• Having five to ten years of job experience will be beneficial. • Adept at using architectural design programs like SketchUp, Revit, or AutoCAD • Strong familiarity with zoning laws, building rules, and construction procedures • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities for productive cooperation with clients and construction teams • A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a similar discipline Previous project management and architectural design experience
