Inventory Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to oversee and manage our inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, optimizing storage and distribution processes, and leading a team of inventory staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervision: Take the lead and oversee the inventory team, which consists of clerks and other inventory management staff members, making sure that duties are finished precisely and on schedule. • Inventory control involves keeping an eye on inventory tracking and making sure that all stock levels are appropriately maintained and recorded. Keep an eye on all inventory movements, including dispatches, transfers, and receipts. • Stock Audits: To find and fix any disparities in stock levels, do routine cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits. Make certain that all inventory records are current and correct. • Order management: Help with the ordering of inventory products as required, making sure that the firm has enough stock to suit its demands while avoiding having too much on hand. • Storage & Organization: Keep a clean and tidy storage area by making sure that merchandise is appropriately labeled, stowed, and arranged. Adopt and uphold optimal practices for inventory management.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar discipline is recommended. • expertise: Three to five years' worth of inventory management expertise, at least one of those years spent in a supervisory capacity. • strong team management and leadership abilities. • outstanding time-management and organizing skills. • proficiency with systems and software for inventory management (e.g., ERP systems). • strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
