The responsibilities of the Business Development Associate include finding, pursuing, and concluding new business prospects. This is a totally remote position that calls for an independent worker that is passionate about business expansion and sales. A strong communicator with knowledge of the subtleties of B2B sales, especially in the food service sector, will make the perfect candidate.
• Determine and investigate possible customers in the intended market. • Reach out to potential customers using social media, emails, and cold calls. • Present the value proposition of company through sales presentations. • Close transactions and negotiate arrangements with potential clients. • Create and preserve a solid rapport with current clients to encourage recommendations and repeat business. • Collaborate closely with the marketing group to synchronize promotional initiatives with sales tactics. • Give management regular input on consumer demands and market developments. • To make sure that goals are reached or surpassed, monitor and report on sales data.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline. • Two years minimum of B2B sales experience, ideally in the restaurant or hotel sectors. • Outstanding negotiating and communication abilities. • Shown capacity to reach or surpass sales goals. • The capacity to operate freely in a remote environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications.
