AI Engineer

Overview

You will be the computational mind of our energy ecosystem as an AI engineer. Your knowledge will infuse our network with intelligence, enabling intelligent systems to learn, adjust, and optimize instantly to fulfill Africa's changing energy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and use machine learning models to improve energy distribution and battery switching logistics. • Develop predictive maintenance algorithms to increase our Kore2 batteries' lifespan and effectiveness. • Create demand forecasting tools driven by AI to guarantee the best possible energy availability throughout our network. • Use natural language processing in multilingual chatbots for customer service. • Construct computer vision algorithms to automate quality control during battery maintenance and manufacture. • Develop models for reinforcement learning in order to increase network efficiency and optimize pricing methods. • Install anomaly detection tools to spot possible problems in our battery network before they get worse. • Work together with engineers and data scientists to incorporate AI technologies into our current infrastructure. • Create user-specific, AI-driven energy use suggestions. • Investigate and employ state-of-the-art AI methods to maintain company's leadership in sustainable energy innovation.

Requirements

• Three years or more of hands-on experience with AI and machine learning • A degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, or a similar discipline • Strong familiarity with Python and machine learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or others) • A track record of success using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques in machine learning • Strong comprehension of deep learning architectures and their uses • Familiarity with cloud computing systems and large data technologies • Understanding of feature engineering and data pretreatment methods, familiarity with version control systems (Git), and cooperative development • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to use AI to solve complicated issues • Outstanding communication abilities to help non-technical stakeholders understand AI ideas • Zeal for leveraging AI to promote the adoption of clean energy and sustainable development • Bonus: Knowledge of machine learning applications in the energy industry or IoT data analysis
