FINNACIAL CONTROL

Overview

As a prominent global company operating within the production industry, we are in search of a Financial Controller to join our team based in Ghana.

Responsibilities

• Enhance control mechanisms for investments and oversee progress payments for ongoing projects.
• Actively participate in monthly closing procedures and management reporting activities.
• Execute payments and oversee all banking operations.
• Maintain records of daily bank transactions.
• Improve accuracy in IFRS reporting.
• Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
• Reconcile accounts related to investments across supplier and bank accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and legal requirements according to local legislation and corporate policies.
• Monitor petty cash expenses and report any outstanding balances accordingly.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Previous experience with accounts payable processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Familiarity with SAP software is advantageous.
